Attention Leaf Peepers! It's Finally Fall - Here are 3 Must See Activities While You're in Town

Can you believe it’s finally fall? We can’t either! We have been waiting for this all year because fall is one of our favorite times of year (and we’re sure it’s one of yours too!) It’s one of the most popular times of the year in the Smoky Mountains, and there’s definitely a reason why. Stays in our Gatlinburg cabins are almost completely booked for the season, so if you don’t have your cabin reserved, do that now! (We’ll still be here when you get back).

  1. Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival: Gatlinburg sure knows how to do the fall season in style! Featuring incredible fall displays and seasonal decorations, Gatlinburg’s Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival will include life size 3 dimensional scarecrows, and a full list of seasonal events: Anakeesta’s Legend of Hallow Mountain, OktOBERfest, Ripley’s Fright Nights, Tunes and Tales, Appalachian GhostWalks, the Craftsmen’s Fair, and the Signature Chili Cookoff.

  2. See the Fall Colors: The Fall Colors are on full display in the Smokies, and we invite you to join us to see them! Hurry and book your stay in the Smokies today because spots in our cabins fill up fast during October and November. You can also view the fall colors in so many different areas of the Smokies. Check out our guide to fall in the Smokies for more.

  3. Gatlinburg Tunes and Tales: Gatlinburg Tunes and Tales is an event hosted by the City every year that allows guests to meet with costumed stortytellers wearing ensembles  dating back to the 1800’s. The storytellers, singers, and cloggers fill the streets to add some festive autumn cheer!

These are just a few of the many activities and events we are hosting in the Smoky Mountains this year. We hope you will stop by and join us for a wonderful vacation in the Smokies. If you have any questions about how to plan your trip or how to find the best cabin for your next trip to the Smokies, call us or live chat with us! We would love to hear from you!
